OWH Sketch #192

It has been awhile since I have been able to create AND post a card but decided to do so this weekend.  I am going to take part in the World Card Making Day bloghop for Operation Write Home so I needed to work on getting that completed and scheduled for the weekend.  

It is also raining here in Central Indiana, a much needed rain, so what better thing to do then create a card or two! Here is the info regarding the bloghop, I'm sure it will be a busy day with lots of great ideas, cards and probably some prizes too!! 



But let's get to the Sunday Sketch Challenge! 



Here is sketch #192



and my submission for this sketch.  The stamp is from Hero Arts and the sentiment is from a Stampin Up set.



I used an embossing folder for the strip on the side and also used Glossy Accents on the colored portion of the image, although you can't really tell it.


I love the sketches from OWH because they give you the sizes, I don't have to try and guess or think about it.

I tried turning the sketch but couldn't make it work. I'll try your card next time because it turned out great. That snowman is so cute.

What a fun and happy card! Love that you flipped the sketch and your coloring... especially the multi-colored color.
